same o same o waiting for winter to hit, pond a toasty 42 , no ice. Bees flying around, a nice 48 at home

I remember when mom and dad died and I had to get rid of dads pink cadillac convertable .But it went to a collector because it was mint and garage kept .22 thousand miles since it was only used on special occasions .I knew I could not take care of it properly .58 degrees here today and sunny and 60 for tomorrow .Took some of the screening and tarp off my pond so the fish could get some of this nice sunshine .Took this pic early this morning but now sun is brighter

Not my pond but thought I'd share since its Christmas. This is one of those houses where the Christmas lights are programmed to play along with music. They live right on a pond so from the road you can see it all reflect in the water really nicely. Had a good time watching it. Photo is blurry but you get the picture.

Since I just made this video, here's my pond today.
I'm testing out a homemade camera slider that I just made. It works really well but is a little wobbly so I'm working on a fix for it. Its also a little jerky, but thats to be expected & I have no complaints since it cost me nothing to build, made from things around the house.

So cold here today. Thought I would unplug the pond heater for a few hours today cause there was not too much ice. Well when I unplugged the heater for only one hour or so, the ice started to come back really fast!!

Ground must be frozen very hard.
