Gotta share this...

I saw a very cool flower at a garden in a park last summer. I did research, found what it was, and bought the seeds last fall. Been waiting to see it bloom ever since and it finally did!

I'm not big on flowers, I tend to get what will benefit insects or bring in hummingbirds. I mean, I do base it on what looks nice too, but this one I got specifically for its looks alone. Definitely my favorite flower and I have a bunch of these plants planted around :)

It also goes great with my Coreopsis and Rudbeckia which also have the red-yellow theme.

That is simply beautiful my friend. How many plants do you have? I get my lillie to bloom one flower each year.

I have 7 waterlily plants total. Never had much luck with waterlilies before this year, but I've never used fertilizer tablets until this year either.
