The black crowned night Heron, sat 10 feet from us and very interested dogs. Did a nice grooming job, as the sun set.

It’s a Drosera intermedia, aka spoonleaf or oblong leaved sundew, native to the eastern half of the US. I had a Drosera capillaris too, but it died when the weather got hot.
