Thats exactly what I started off thinking about. Great accent piece nice work.

But big boys and their toys I got a little crazy with the excavator. Over and over and over again .

Tiny tree frogs or toads, getting their legs. The background is muck on the bog surface, they are under 1/2 inch in size.

A free running almost black, in a shallow pond, somehow survives the winter freeze.

A pond doesn't have to be huge to make me smile :) Yours is clearly well loved and happy.

What a beautiful little pond! I could really appreciate a raised pond now that my back is killing from moving rocks! Great job!
Thank you all so much! I really love how it came out, better than my expectations, tbh. It's amazing what can be done with a liner, a pump, a 7 gallon bucket and some pvc piping. I had a lot of inspiration here on these forums to help me along the way, especially the idea to build a bog filter. It's so freeing not to worry about cleaning the filter...Just watch the plants grow! Can't wait to see how it matures.
