So the camera was actually in the water? Why do you need the aquarium? Can't you just lower the camera on a stick? Sorry for all the questions but I just wondered :)

No, the camera wasn't in the water, it was in the aquarium.
I could just go outside and take a picture of what I did, but because I'm bored, here's a drawing.

Ah I see, very clever! The aquarium just floats upright by itself attached w/ a rope or you just holding it still so it doesn't sink or tip over. Cool drawing too!

I have to push it into the water because the pressure of the water pushes it up, and I hold it to keep it stable, so I can just maneuver it around as I hold it at that level.

Well it's just a really cool idea and I may have to give it a try sometime.

How'd you reach in and click it and hold the aquarium from falling over all at the same time?

Easier than it seems. I just put my fist on the bottom and that stabilized it and my thumb clicked the button.

Here's a Blue Dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis) dragonfly warming in the sun here this morning. The funny species name longipennis means "long wings" but sounds like a reference to a different, much shorter, appendage. Aquatic Entomology humor...
