What does your pond look like ... Today?

true, but this will keep you going over winter with anticipation. But I understand your hurt; that's why I like having an UW cam so I can peek in and still get that pond experience, even when the temps are cold.

I have been looking at the UW cams. Maybe some day....
The good thing is that I can still see the fish. Unless there is snow and ice I still go out and spend time there.

That's what I like about the weather here. It's pretty mild so can enjoy the pond all year round. Do get some ice for a couple days or so but pond is pretty much open and running all year long. Waterfall and filters keep on going.

I have a fine mesh netting on it to keep the leaves and nuts out. But this pond has been running continuously 24/7 for 17 years. The only drawback is if I have maintenance issues during the coldest of days! LOL The good thing is that I have been running 2 pumps for the last 6 years. So if one stops working I have a little cushion to make repairs.
