The very next morning I saw a huge snake coming down from the pond. 2 out of 10 survived.

I can just see it now; one long skeleton laid on the grass, peppered by 8 smaller ones all along the line of the larger one!

nothing wrong with THIS pic; but I'd eliminate the chair as distracting and lower your camera for better perspective. Nice pond, though!

true, but this will keep you going over winter with anticipation. But I understand your hurt; that's why I like having an UW cam so I can peek in and still get that pond experience, even when the temps are cold.

That's what I like about the weather here. It's pretty mild so can enjoy the pond all year round. Do get some ice for a couple days or so but pond is pretty much open and running all year long. Waterfall and filters keep on going.
