Maybe your huge snake will end up like mine, someones meal! I found the skeleton.
I can just see it now; one long skeleton laid on the grass, peppered by 8 smaller ones all along the line of the larger one!

Sad day as I covered the fish pond. The backyard does not feel the same with covers on the pool and fish pond.....

true, but this will keep you going over winter with anticipation. But I understand your hurt; that's why I like having an UW cam so I can peek in and still get that pond experience, even when the temps are cold.

That's what I like about the weather here. It's pretty mild so can enjoy the pond all year round. Do get some ice for a couple days or so but pond is pretty much open and running all year long. Waterfall and filters keep on going.
