They are a neat lily, a lot of mine are one color with the white in the pedals.

yeah, most are goldfish but I'm moving up the koi number; got 4 more coming tomorrow (though, lost 4 from the previous order, just up and died within a week). I figure since I'm not feeding for growth, I'm not expecting mega sized koi. Even the ones that are now 4 years old are only about 16", so...

It looks a lot more crowded since when I'm anywhere near the pond edge, they of course are begging. I counted on this though, that's why my lilies are basically covering the back half of the pond where I couldn't see much anyhow.

Yep, water is clearer now; it was great while the fish were still waking up but as soon as the weather warmed and they swam about more vigorously, I started to get a lot of fines moving about. Resurrected the prefilters and they've now gotten it back, more or less, to early spring clarity. A month ago, before my UW cam died, it was hard to see to the other side because of all the fines floating about!

Thanks for looking, GB!

Love the pergola. How big is it? Did you do that yourself or have someone build it for you?
Thanks for looking, Beenzie. It's not a pergola, it's a screened in pondhouse. The roof is made of 1x6 treated, in 4'x4' openings. Over top, I have mosquito screening (as well as all the walls are screened).

The whole pondhouse is 20x31'.

And yeah, this is a diy project. Only help I had was on expansion, my son helped me dig and lay in the new liner.

My first water lily! Usually I’m a stickler for botanical names, but all the vendor could tell me about this one was that it would be yellow. If anyone knows more, I’d appreciate an ID.
Yellow. DEFINITELY yellow!
John ;)
