This lily showed up in one of the small loop ponds I must have tossed a loose tuber in there, the pond is now all lily pads.

And I am not advocating this method of lily growth, I am doing a experiment in my 1000 gallon stock tank pond, Turned 4 loose to see how they do, zero fertilizer added. I put a layer of oil dry in the bottom maybe 2ish inches deep. This pond gets dirty water from the big pond, a T that feeds it a constant pass through flow of water. And big snakes favorite watering hole.

The lilies have never bloomed so well and so much. The flowers are HUGE! From 6 to 8 inches across. I need to take a tape measure down.

I know I will be wading at some time to groom tubers, keep them sort of in control

Everything's blooming so beautifully! What type of clematis is that? It's amazing!!
That one is Niobe. Every year it is full of flowers. Out of 8 varieties of clematis, I only have 3 that bloom well.
This one is Multi blue. It also gets covered with flowers.

Gorgeous lilies, @addy1 . I keep getting tempted to let one of mine out of their pot.

These "weeds" are growing down by the loop ponds and along the woods. Indian hemp, it is covered with bees, wild bees, bumble bees etc. I let it grow until done flowering then cut it back.

I had not seen snakies recently but have seen the fox hanging out. Nope the lil one is in the big pond, the big one is in the small pond. Just saw its tail disappear as it went under the parrots feather I was pulling out.

The day lilies are doing good this year, all the construction noise we had kept the ground hogs and deer away a bit. I actually have flower buds that have not been eaten off.
