Don't need any recording to watch money fly out the window. Can watch it live every night and listen to the next hair brain ideas

maybe you could make a recording of construction noise, play it on a loop...;) Wouldn't even see a money flow...!
lol no thanks enjoying the quiet! We had them here for about 4.5 weeks still a bit to do but things on back order. Have deer fencing as our upper deck rail, part is in part is open. Been ordered for 4 weeks now. only a 10 foot drop onto the other deck but rather not test it out.

Got a lot of items taken care of that were on our list that we never got to since we were working on rentals and didn't keep this house up as nice as I wanted.
Now we can just enjoy and sort of maintain the yard and the bees and enjoy our boats.

Working with the pond today after 4 years of the fish moving the lights im finally getting around to epoxying them in place. And setting some led solar lights around the pond. Found the first garder snake and some absolutely huge water spiders.

It looks amazing! ...and so do those koi! Not sure if I've ever asked you how many fish you have in there (still contemplating moving all mine to the large pond and taking down the other one)

My first water lily! Usually I’m a stickler for botanical names, but all the vendor could tell me about this one was that it would be yellow. If anyone knows more, I’d appreciate an ID. The pond only gets 3.5 hours of full sun a day, so I’m delighted to get any blooms at all.

How old is your pond now
The original (part closest to the patio) was dug in 2011; the back portion was dug and enjoined in 2019. So basically, been a ponder for 10 years now. A lot of the foliage was just redistributed on the expansion. So, I didn't have to start from scratch.

Went out in the 111 heat index heat (95 actual) and took a few quick shots.

The firefly is enjoying the lily

This is in the small loop pond, I think I tossed in a tuber to take care of later and it has taken over. Think running free! One huge flower

Spotted a new lily bloom from the deck. I'm trying to tag all my lilies with color tags. This one is part Vanvisa, part yellow!. Didn't have the camera when I pulled it from the lily pond and of course since I decided to put it in the koi pond, It was a snack. Several more buds, waiting to see if they are all 2 tone

The wanvisa does that, some flowers are two tone some are one color all have the white lines in the pedals. Some are the pinkish color some are almost all yellow. They really vary.
