I put that green duck weed in my new little frog pond and it grew so thick it covered every inch so I netted it all out and put it in my bigger fish pond and it's almost all gone! Fish pigs

When you say you turned it loose, did you take it out of it's pot?
In my 1000 gallon pond I turned 4 lilies loose, knowing they can cause havoc. My intention is to groom the roots back every year. The water is only around 2.5 feet deep so easy to do. Dragging the oil pans out was getting tough esp if one jumped its pot which this big bloomer was doing every summer.

The big pond, nope they are still very controlled.

Pretty bad.
The UV sterilizer in my pile of crap SMARTPOND pressurized filter is out again.
But I just bought a new, larger, better filter and at long last that SMARTPOND is going into the dumpster!

Ugg. My pond's a mess. Guess what my fishies have been up to for the past two days....

At least the water lilies are blooming nicely!

After I climbed in & cleared some of the lily pads & toppled lizard tail so the skimmers could do a better job of pulling some of the foam off the surface. But still.... yuk! Goofy fish!
