It's been awhile for me to get out and work on my pond, since I had to have a heart valve and Coranary artery bypass grafting x 4 May 1st, but my kids and other half have been helping me out to work on the pond. It drives me nuts not being able to do it myself but everyone tries to please me and do what I ask them to do to finish the pond...still need lots more rock but. All the rain and humidity is working well for all the plants here though and everything is growing pretty darn good! Slowly were getting there though. Oh and we have lots of babies!!! Shubunkin, goldies and fantails!

Gosh hope you are feeling better now that they re-plumbed you. Good you have helpers keeping your pond in good shape. Your pond is looking just lovely and what is that pretty plant in the last set of pictures top left w/ the oj flowers? I really like it :)

Sorry to hear you were down and not feeling well RebelAngel, Good to see your pond looks good and the kids help you out, cause going threw that must have been very difficult. My ex sister inlaw had a big heart attack at 50 years age and thankfully she survived and is now doing much better, but it was a slow long difficult road to recovery for her. Just take it easy and just enjoy your beautiful pond and the lovely summer! :bear:

FishyLove I am not even sure what kind of koi I have either, and I have had the two oldest for well over 20 years now.

Haven't been taking too many photos. Looking forward to camping in a couple nights, for a couple nights.

I do like the new plants I shared a couple days ago, so I got better photos of them. The second one is one of my favorites in my pond area.

That second one is really cool. It reminds me of the beautiful "sunburst" finish popularized by Fender and Gibson guitars.
