From this morning, it is starting to come alive from the winter

Got my pond uncovered and ready for spring. It is going to be a great one!

Used my sun glasses to cut down on reflection, got some good shots of the fan tails. And the three babies, two dark one orange, white black. Great fins on the fish. The fist picture shows the small dark fan tail

Things greening up, lily pads hitting the surface, fish swimming around. And the swimmin' pond.

Ugh. Yup. We got snow as well. It was enough to cover all of the trees and then some!

I did. They are about 26 to 27 years old. Currently, there is about 50 GPM of spring water running through the ponds. I also have an aerator. No liner, just natural clay. They are strictly trout ponds, and I have raised trout to 12 pounds or so.
