Pond was never shut down, but fish are all up in the shallows the past couple days. Although it looks a little different than last summer

Ignore the net, waiting for my new one to get here. The 6plus year old net has fallen apart. Without all the plants growing you can track the steam up the hill to the deck (on the left of the picture deck.
Just installed new cam, need to straighten up the picture a bit. Our house is not crooked lol

Just gorgeous @addy1 ! The view is great from either angle.

More snow yesterday... hopefully that's it for this season! I see tiny signs of life around the pond... little green poking out here and there, marsh marigold getting bold, irises saying "we're still here!" What a great time of year!

We went outside in the sunshine the other day and wow there was a ton of honey bees gathering pollen off the dangley things on our Harry Lauder's Walking Stick tree. Tried to take photo's but did not show up good enough. I had no idea they liked that tree! It's a type of Filbert tree. Love that they can get pollen from it!
