We had frost several times here, but daytime temps are still in the 70s, impatient and lilies are still blooming.
I have removed the Taro and the water canna, brought them in to winterize along with two small cuttings of umbrella palm.
I plan to clean up a bit every weekend, hopefully I can enjoy blooms for at least couple more weeks

The pond seems to be a big hit with the local wildlife. A few toads and frogs have set up residence in the skimmer filter and rocks around the edges. The California Scrub Jays like to fight over the waterfall for bathing rights in the morning. And we've had some migratory White-crowned sparrows become loud and active in the evening in the nearby shrubs. They visit the pond for a bath and a drink which makes for some entertaining bird watching.

6 or 7, I don't know if one is really tiny or like a splotch of orange paint?
