Here's the pond out my window. The white you see in the woodchips is hail.

Nice. I've had a couple of random blooms lately, but at this time of year the angle of the sun puts my pond mostly in the shade, so my lilies have pretty much given it up.

Mine is still full sun, it gets very little shade any time of the year. So a few are still popping up. But soon pulling cutting putting to sleep.

I have sooooo many buds. I'm really hoping for a string of warm days here in this last few weeks so they can open. Probably wishful thinking though!

I had a couple of blooms last week. Things have really taken a turn with this cold weather though. Most pads were yellow and removed. Not many left.

I cut off about 25 buds, it was pretty today, pond water 61, Air temp 68, so time to get down and wet and dirty. Better now than when the cold hits. Got the big pond done, around 15 lilies, still have 8 to go in different ponds.
I was going to hard groom them , ie remove a lot of tubers redo the litter, nope just put more osmocote in the bottom and cut off any huge dead tubers.

My hot tub fan tails were showing off, I even saw three babies! One a nice shubbie color, two a golden/gray. Still need to groom the lilies in this pond will get around to it.
