Blooming Scotch moss and the bunny who eats the wee blooms today...View attachment 91366View attachment 91367
I said at one point we didnt have white clover, I was wrong. Maybe because until this year, we didnt have a beekeeper in our neighborhood for me to notice. Now I have a new outlook on our clover. Our neighbors have given us a couple of jars of honey, and now that I know, I am committed to helping them. Ive always loved the bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds...but instead of just getting big bumbles, I get the neighbors bees all summer. I adore it and now those clover patches in my grass dont irritate me as much as they used to.

I thought your pond was bigger than 30gallons, I can never remember who has what.......... you could put a net over it, see if the fish survive then.

We are still in March temperatures, the lilies stopped growing, one bud has been sitting as a bud for a week now. Still waiting for some sun and warmth to convince it to open. Sitting in the 50's and constant rain.
Yes, we have been colder and rainier too for the season. I understand you cant keep track of us all, lol, I cant keep track of myself! Lol. I think I figured it out...I have a snake making the fish jump the pond. Hes about to be relocated. i just lost two more fantails in one night. I have no other explanation becaue I find them in the plants dead of course but otherwise unharmed. That little snake is fun for the wildlife aspect but heart breaking for the fish and expensive if I have to keep replacing fish that dont even survive a day!

Ducks. They ignored the egg, but have since started another nest that now has 4 eggs. Female was laying on them earlier, then she covered them and left, so these may be the real deal.

I saw a snake in my pond once, no clue if it had a snack. One advantage of having a large pond and xx fish. I might miss some of the real unique, but will not miss some of the others. I have no clue how many are in there.

Had to put nets up to stop all the tree litter from falling into ponds. Used some old nets that were meant to cover really big umbrella's. used to use them few years back before I had the gazebo.... but I never throw away anything these days, and now that I seem to work all the time, it was just easy peasy to put up fine nets and then I saved myself a lot of extra work! Nets and half down today, tree litter just about over hopefully! I have some nice shots of my hanging fairy succulent arrangement's too.

Cool picture of the dragon flies @addy1 . And I would have loved to see a picture of the bee on the frog's nose!
