Our bees are suffering, they have very limited nectar flow here, the rain is keeping them in the hives. We will need to buy a whole lot of sugar to keep them alive. We used 600 lbs last year and it was a good nectar year.

I said if I got pics of my inlaws Rhodes, id show them. Only some are blooming. In another month, they will be better. They are about month behind us in blooming due to a higher elevation.

Ouch, I asked where the neighbors bees were because I havent seen them in our garden, and apparently they are gorging on pine pollen here atm. We have had clouds here recently that gum up filters and make a mess of everything.

New Koi pond just about finished. I'm a mud-pond owner and this new pond will be a new experience for me. I'll add a video once I figure out how to. Lol

Noticed the neighbors yard up the street was 90% clover, in full bloom! My neighbor next door told me he keeps bees and runs a honey shop. Now we're all letting the clover grow.

Wow. Looking at all these gorgeous ponds. Mine is so.... nothing!
Hey even if small, etc it is still a pond. We like all ponds.

These iris are opening more and more, they are right next to a stream pond, the ones on the top of the slope are at the next bend in the stream.

These are right next to the deck pond and the variegated iris are in the deck pond.

Came back from my 3 day camping trip and was amazed at the pond area and garden. Everything has completely changed in just three short days. Some of the plants have grown at least six inches. Blue-eyed Grass is blooming, Sensitive ferns opened up, and Blue Flag Iris and Lanceleaf Tickseed is about to bloom.
