I was out feeding the fish today, I glance over the fence, and see this...

Now, you all know I see a lot of different animals, but this is one of the most random things... They were eating under my neighbor's feeder, and I know they aren't my neighbor's chickens. I enjoy how random it is, though. Never thought I'd look over my fence and see chickens. Just when I think I've seen all the animals around here, something throws me off.

@Troutredds that is great! Well, I don't have a place to pin them down, nor do I have sediments to help them thrive, so I've really just determined they are not the best plant option for my pond. I did secure a couple plant baskets to the inside of my frame edge, and we have mini cattails, calla lilies, and irises thriving there, plus a couple very happy water lilies, so that's fine. :) I had initially bought the water hyacinth to provide more shade in the water, but now that I have 4 big sail shades over the pond, it's not an issue. Thanks!

my guys have become really tame this year. Eating out of my hand
That's great! My fish still haven't forgiven me for letting the heron get one of their buddies. Still very skittish when I feed them and are slow to come greet me when I go out to feed them.
