Pond was really murky today after I was messing around with the bog so I didn't bother taking pond pics but the grape hyacinths shot up with the warm weather today.

The warm weather is also sending up my Butterfly weed!

I installed my new pump today and figured out the pvc setup with valves and it's been working great!

See the frog? I didn't notice it was there until after I took the photo.

The waterfall won't be done for awhile, I still need to get stone to finish it, but I sort of put it together with what I had just to make it look somewhat nice for now. The pvc valve setup is obvious right now but I've already come up with a plan to hide it, or at least camouflage it, and the hoses will not be as obvious when I set some plant pots between them. I'll work on all of that another day.

My grape hyacinths are blooming up a storm right now.

and, @Mmathis, I thought I'd let you know my Globeflower is still doing good in the bog!

Here's a short video. The rock the water is flowing over is such a perfect rock for an even waterfall. I got it from a farm a couple years ago just thinking I would set it around somewhere, and now it's become part of the main feature.

I'm so in love with my new water feature. I had purchased the pot intending to use it as a waterfall on the side of the pond but after setting it up I decided to try this. I love it. Not sure if I'm going to bog it out or put some type of filtering material in it. I just love it. I also planted a bunch of stuff in and around the pond this weekend. I've got to do some work to the edging but she is off and running for Spring!!

You could use lava rock and filter it and a tall plant would look great growing in it
