I don't know if they have any plants even growing at that location yet. They do have one covered area that was there when they bought the place so could be some in there.
One nicely placed fireworks rocket and we might find out fast

My 2006 Charger is my baby, and plan to drive it until it dies, too. I have not seen any other car that is as large, good gas mileage (23-26 mpg), and has so much room in the back for passengers.
Pot is not legal in IL yet .... I'm sure there will be lots of greenhouses that will be growing it if/when it becomes legal.
Sir John, that is one cool looking golf cart! Around here, people ride in what I call "side-by-sides", ATV's that will carry 4 people, and go pretty fast on the country roads, too.

No one has posted on this thread in a few days so thought I would bring up new subject. There are a lot of pics of pond plants and flowers but how many members have veggie gardens? Does any one can? Spent the entire day today in the kitchen wit all 4 burners going! 2 kinds of hot peppers, pickled onions, taco sauce as well as olive oil roasted tomato sauce. My fish are mad! Haven't been down to see them all day so no food!

I just have tomatoes in my green house now. Quit doing a garden when the deer decided it was a buffet for them. Love my tomatoes tho!

Took a chance with the deer- that's the reason we quit having a garden. 7' fencing decorated with bright ribbon and so far no problems. Did have 2 does show up 2 weeks age taking an interest but the pellet gun seems to have solved the problem! Planted way too much!!! Have all winter to rethink the plans for next year but have a full pantry and freezer!

We could have put a fence up but hubby kept saying we also were supposed to be doing a lot of camping and traveling after he retired so just decided not to do the garden. We have not been doing that much at all. Seems like fixing things around here got the better of our time.

I have a veggie garden but really down sized this year. I have potatoes, tomatoes, green peppers and green beans and a few onions. I don't can anything, not enough time between working, keeping the house clean and taking care of my flowers and pond. Just eat fresh out of the garden. I really restrained myself this year and only planted 5 tomatoe plants. I'm the only one that eats them at my house anyway and always have way more than I can eat.

I counted about 5 batches of frog eggs, the tads are now getting little legs, some are just starting to swim.
My toad orgy turned into about 500 tadpoles. Not looking forward to the lawn mower accidents over the next few months :( My "toad-poles" for the most part are now with 4 legs and the tails are slowly shrinking. Many are now sticking their heads out of the water for air. That makes me very happy :) My little eco-system seems to be working.

Well, it's not just toad-poles there are many baby toads all over the place now. Still many in the pond, but so many little hoppers all over the place. I could place two side by side on my baby finger nail and probably have room for a third! Can't wait for next year's chorus! :)
