I am getting over the plague scare and not going to worry too much, I feel calmer now and not so jumpy, I think that they would tell us.... if they knew what it was, the problem is this new strain of Ebola was just discovered as reported recently in the New English Journal of Medicine. http://crofsblogs.typepad.com/h5n1/2014/04/understanding-the-nejm-ebola-report.html

Saskatchewan seems suddenly so close and we do get a lot of shoppers here in Medicine Hat that drive across to Alberta just to shop, and I do work with a lot of different people and the store is a source of much "people traffic" too....

But I do think that they made a big "ops" in Saskatoon by letting the family visit with only gloves and gown, while this guy was most likely "bleeding out from the eyes and stuff" because of this hemorrhagic fever type virus. After SARS in Ontario, they too realized they made a big "Ops" and mistakes do happen in hospitals lots.

Yeah just relax a little, they wouldn't hide this.....I mean they could have hid h1n1 or sars.....etc but they never. Why would they not say anything now?

I looked it up and YES, how did you know? why have I never seen one before.....we have those here?

With all the ditches filled with snow melt run-off, they have lots of places to check for breeding partners.
Once the ditches dry up, they stick to more established bodies of water.
They're pretty common in Alberta.

Relax, Colleen, pour yourself a nice stiff drink, smoke a doobie, whatever it takes to calm down. The world is full of deadly diseases, deadly animals, deadly drunks behind the wheel. Chances are, none will find you in the near future, if ever! Worrying will not lessen the chance of an encounter, but it COULD shorten your life. Enjoy your pond, your garden, your better half (or worse half, as the case may be), your puppies, and your blood pressures stays more manageable, lessening the possibility of health issues. Don't worry, be happy! :)

LOOOOOOL john..."smoke a doobie" really? LMAO. but no for real john is 100% correct. Worrying does not stop it, it never has and never will. Its kind of like taking an exam, you stress and worry and then at some point you start thinking ***************** that test, im just going to take it. You can't keep worrying. There has ALWAYS been thousands of crazy diseases out there,....you can't live life being scared of them. For your own peace, STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER....I swear to you google is one of the biggest diseases.....this coming from a person who had a MASSIVE bout of anxiety and nearly self-diagnosed myself to the brink of hell.
