Yes, old age is setting in and I do panic quick at the thought of strange new deadly things. While waiting for hubby to come out of the OR for his plastic surgery to fix face after cancer, all kinds of alarms were going off, First there was Code Red, looked that up on my smart phone and discovered it was a fire alarm, and the alarm was very loud and I was getting quite concerned. Then I noticed that nobody was in a panic but me, then I thought to myself... "humm while the first twin tower in New York was burning, they told everybody not to panic and all was fine,,,, Then after a while and alarm was still loud and ringing, I thought to myself maybe I should just go into the OR and take hubby away and save him from this potential fire threat.... then the alarm quit and all was fine for a short while. Then there was Code Blue in the out patient area in the Tom Baker Cancer section.... then there was a Code 66 on the 11th floor, smart phone told me that was a dead guy,,,
So while waiting for Hubby to get out of OR, I played with Google on my smart phone and discovered a possible case of Ebola was here in Canada! Maybe I am overtired and stressed from traveling and hubbys operation,.. but here is what I discovered...
* Early March, report of Ebola in a Saskatoon man, Health Officials state that test for Ebola was Negative and all was fine, Family was allowed to visit with only gloves and gown...
** April 5th, news update on the very sick man in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada, now they say they are investigating man with possible Ebola case and lady doing the interview with the news sounds scared to me! Now I understand that the whole family that was allowed to visit this man in all under quarantine!
*** News reports from Reuters News says that health officials in Africa sent home many people who tested "negative" for Ebola, ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT THEY WERE A FALSE NEGITIVE!! This is a new strain of the Ebola Zaire strain and that is why they tested Negitive when in fact they were positive and allowed to spread like wildfire!
**** France has quarantined plane with possible cases of Ebola..
***** Ebola like cases now in Italy too, immigrant workers all showing symptoms of Ebola...

Funny thing is we have not heard a word since this report two weeks ago, nothing, like they want it to all disappear! Look what happened to Ontario when they had SARS. nobody wanted to travel there and millions of dollars were lost... just saying that I think this is be hushed up!

Yes Colleen and settle down and try to be calm cuz you are stressing yourself out from knowing too much also. That is not good for you and can bring your immune system down which is not good. Drink some of your relaxing wine and have a nice chat w/ hubby and try to think of something nice. You can't stop whatever is going on out there. They have zombies out there working on it right now

Collen you really shouldn't worry so much, the government would never hide something this bad from us....and even if they did, it would have came up in a huge news cast like the h1n1 and bird flue, swine flu.....flying cactus flu. I understand these things can be horrifying, but in reality, these things are happening on a daily basis around the world. Remember malaria was a huge buzz word a few years back, now we don't care anymore. These health scare trends happen every year. To be quite frank, we will all die when we are meant to die, is it scary, YES, but in reality, we have 0 control over it and time spent worrying about this stuff is time wasted where you could have enjoyed life.

No I meant when it comes to our health that is....what is a country without people? The whole war in Iraq and Afghanistan is a scam cover up.....not to mention the countless other things governments are hiding from their people......its quite nasty actually.

The U.S government has been lying about health issues for decades. natural treatments, and cures are withheld, because big pharma has the FDA, and 1/2 the government in its pocket. because they cant make money on medicines people can make at home for virtually nothing! billions of dollars a year spent on just cancer and diabetes treatments. they dont make cures. they make customers!

i just broke down and got a 22" monitor. been happy with the original 17" . thought about going larger before, but never did. WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! why did i wait so long?
Your 100% right and it makes me so sad. I mean what the hell are they even calling medicine these days? I swear to you, I seen a commercial for a stroke medication that said "taking X medicine may cause a stroke, internal bleeding or death, stopping X medicine may also cause a stroke" WHAT THE HELL KIND OF MEDICATION CAUSES WHAT IT WAS MEANT TO PREVENT?
