Yep Tmann and this is definitely one of those places. I will be afraid now to drive down that hwy after this. I never knew all this about this area till all this happened and I bet some of those people living there were not told anything either. I see lawsuits written all over this one!
And years ago we looked at land down in that area to buy to build a house on...............sure glad we didn't!

Not good banter but banter.

Saturday morning at about 12AM a loud dull thud sound woke us both from a sound sleep. Sound was akin to a mortar round exiting the motar tube when fired. Was concerned someone was invading our home. Immediately called 911. First officer arrived in less than 60 seconds. Second within 3 minutes. A thorough search of our property found no problems. The officers searched ours and an adjoining neighborhood. Although a rather rattling disturbance we were relieved all was well. Very impressed with our Desoto PD.
