sorry to hear Lou, all we can do is keep plugging away, one day at a time. Keep upright and breathing!

Darn Lou that doesn't sound good but as long as you are still alive there is hope for something new to come up around the corner to help you w/ your condition. Stay strong and positive and I'll be praying for you.

Somebody posted this on FB, I had to share ... less the advertisement part at the end, which I didn't copy. :blueflower:

A pig's orgasm lasts 30 minutes. (O.M.G.!!!) A cockroach will live nine days without its head before it starves to death. (Creepy. I'm still not over the pig.) The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head off. (Honey, I'm home . What the...?) The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It's like a human jumping the length of a football field. (30 minutes. Lucky pig! Can you imagine?) The catfish has over 27,000 taste buds. (What could be so tasty on the bottom of a pond?) Some lions mate over 50 times a day. (I still can't believe that pig ...quality over quantity.) Butterflies taste with their feet. (Something I always wanted to know.) Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump. (Okay, so that would be a good thing.) A cat's urine glows under a black light. (I wonder how much the government paid to figure that out.) An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain. (I know some people like that.) Starfish have no brains. (I know some people like that, too.) Polar bears are left-handed. (Talk about a southpaw.) Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure. (What about that pig? Do the dolphins know about the pig?) Now that you've smiled at least once, it's your turn to spread these crazy facts. (and gotta love that pig) !!!!!! -----

a friend just emailed me this

Power outage

We had a power outage last night and my PC, iPad, iPhone, TV and games console shut down immediately, so I had to talk to my wife for a few hours.

She seems like a nice person

Hey, Y'all, Dave 54 asked me to post the following so people would know why he's not been on-line for a while:

Would you do me a favour and let others know that due to continued illness I've not been able to be on line of late , both Val and I dont seem to have been right since we had the flu jabs this last month
Val was the first to start feeling unwell but now its hit me, I can describe it as being hit by a truck , whilst sparing with Mike Tyson.
Our arms feel ultra heavy , our legs are sore , its like having the flu but without the temperature (I know that this years jab had swine flu in it, perhaps its that thats the cause I dont know but we are both very distressed by this as we dont need it , not this time of the year.

Get better, Dave and Val!!!! We miss you.
