He ties him to a chair. ...While tying the wife to the bed, the convict gets on top of her, kisses her neck, then gets up and goes into the bathroom. While he’s in there, the husband whispers over to his wife,“Listen, this guy is an escaped convict. Look at his clothes! He’s probably spent a lot of time in jail and hasn't seen a woman in years. I saw how he kissed your neck. If he wants sex, don’t resist, don’t complain. Do whatever he tells you. Satisfy him no matter how much he nauseates you. This guy is obviously very dangerous. If he gets angry, he’ll kill us both. Be strong, honey. I love you!”She responds: “He wasn't kissing my neck. He was whispering in my ear. He told me that he’s gay, thinks you’re cute, and asked if we had any Vaseline. I told him it was in the bathroom. Be strong honey. I love you, too.”

Saw a beautiful really big hawk on Sunday. Just looked it up on the internet, here's a pic I found there of a Red Shouldered Hawk:

At 17-24" long, it rivals our more common Red Tailed Hawk, which is 18-26" long. The red breast was what I studied and remembered, thinking it looked like the breast of a robin. I never spotted or knew there were any hawks besides Red Tailed Hawks and "chicken hawks", I think more commonly known as Cooper's Hawk. This last one is smallest, 14-20". And enjoying watching the Sharp Shinned Hawk hunt over the fields near me. Very cool birds!

Discorde me décrit le mieux. Dieu, aide-moi à changer is a line from a novel written about the French revolution. In the novel a revolutionary farmer pursades the townspeople to pillage the aristocratic mayor's home. During the ensusing malay the mayor, who is the farmer's brother, is killed. In mist of his despair the farmer looks up to the heavens and pleadingly states "Discord best describes me. God, help me to change." (Discorde me décrit le mieux. Dieu, aide-moi à changer.).

I posted the sad but poinent saying because with all the discord in today's world "Discorde me décrit le mieux. Dieu, aide-moi à changer." still rings so very true.

Having two very nice pewter light fixtures installed on the brick on either side of the garage. One side is prewired. The other must be wired from scratch. The real deal ectrician is costing us $350. This seems high. What do you think?


P.S. Talked to a "Fred Samford" type jack of all trades that would do the job for $85. Come to find out he was not licensed and is a "figure it out as he goes type of worker". Was a hoot talking to the fellow. His truck bed was loaded down with random tools, lawn mowers, latters and just plain junk.
