JW, yes, fleas do live outside in the grass, and no way I can spray it all. And, I won't because I don't want to mess with the eco system in the ponds and for the landscaping and plants. So, I will deal with the fleas in the house, and hope that the meds I gave the dogs will keep the fleas off of them, too, in time.
OK, I saw this posted on FB, and just had to share. Anyone who has active military family members, or has had in the past, you will understand the deep feeling of this video. Everyone else, get your tissues ready, even you big tough guys! It's a really touching video, one of those that makes you want to just scream and cry with the families! Enjoy

We took a break from house remodeling went snorkeling with the sharks, saw a ton of nurse sharks swimming among the fishes. A protected reef, protected from fishing etc. A bunch of fish swimming around. The sharks were around 20 feet below us just swimming along. So neat.

Now back to work.....................

ya! you won't see me swimming with the sharks either, maybe swimming with my fish but too darn scared to go swim in ocean with natural born killers, you very brave Addy! Did you happen to get any pictures underwater? :fish2: :goldfish: :surfing:

Sissy How is the hand? Hope it is getting better, that was a lot of bee stings, maybe you better relax and slow down for a few days till you feel better... :blueflower: in the

Speaking of old stuff, while in the garage cleaning stuff up, I rediscovered this really really old stove from the 40's or maybe 50's. My hubby tells me it works and was his grandmas stove. It is white, gas operated, and looks quite nice, with all the cludder I had forgot all about it! I hear they are worth quite a bit of money these days, but I was thinking that someday I will hook it up and use it instead of the current stove. Sometimes hoarding pays off, hubby a real good at hoarding! I think I will go outside and get you a picture.....

I had my camera, underwater, then got a door is open warning, so took it back to the boat. Have not looked at the pics I got to see if they are any good. Unless we are diving it is hard to get decent pics while snorkeling. I used to have a under water nikon set up, two flashes that is the way to get good shots. My first hubby did not dive so I sold all when I married him, cameras, diving equipment etc, wish I had kept some of it. Loved to go night diving the night critters had the prettiest colors, did a lot of macro photography. Hang around the piers some of the neatest pictures. I have some shots of the prettiest orange mollusk that only came out at night.

The nurse sharks are harmless, they ignore you. I have seen sharks a lot while diving, they never bother you, have not dove among great whites, would never do that, they hurt............one big bite and ouch!

The diving here is not as nice as the Caribbean, the water is murkier, the light does not travel down as deep, unreal currents, more of a drift diving. We did have a nice snorkel. The two times we dove out of florida, we did not like how the dive ships were run. The snorkel trip was a sort of check out to see how they operated. We might dive the next time we come down.

I love being underwater, it is so peaceful just floating along watching the fish and critters. I have around 400 dives under belt, quit for a while now back into it. Rescue diver level, very comfortable under water.

Sister now in house and we cooked the first meal there. A take and bake pizza and it was yummy! All her stuff is still down in storage in Oregon so I gave her the bare necessities to use till we drive down and open the storage units for the movers to bring all here stuff up here.
We can now feel free to roam our house as we see fit in what we see fit or what we see or don't see that is not fit to be seen in :cheerful:

Our daughter and grandkids moved into their own home a week ago thursday, and son-in-law arrived from New Zealand a week later. The house is ours again after some four months of rather crowded living conditions, and I fully understand your convoluted statement!

JW and Haro are running around in their birthday suits in their houses now, if anyone drives by. LOL
Addy, I have right at 100 dives now, and need to find someone that is as passionate about diving as I am, to get back into it. I have not taken the courses to do rescue diving, but I'm super comfy under water. I agree, there's nothing like being underwater in no surf and no drift, just observing everything around you. Some people think you have to keep swimming to "see everything", when everything is right before your eyes, if you would just look and see it! I never had a good underwater camera, but know what you mean about night dives and docks. I sat on the bottom, only 15' of water, right off the dock, and watched the action go by. Water eels (looked like snakes), lobsters, tiny shrimp with eyes that glowed, worms, clams ... the night life is a totally different world than the fish in the daytime.

Vacuumed my house really good, then rented shampooer and did all the carpets really good. Planning to set off the flea foggers in the morning. Have to shut off the AC, cover the aquariums, leave the house for at least 2 hours (going horseback riding, will be gone more like 6 hours, probably), and then open the windows to air out the house. I don't think I'll have to air it out, just turn the AC back on, as I'll come home, drop off the horses, then head back out to friend's house for supper. By the time I get home, it should be just fine. Cat has to go in the garage for the day. Just hope it helps the dogs. Maybe there is no help for the problem, but I sure hate to itch, so really bothers me to see them so miserable with scratching. We shall see!
