Congrats, Mogsie!
As far as thieves, my daughter had a saddle, car jack and another item stolen from her horse trailer in her front yard! She noticed it within 2 days (maybe within 6 hours), only because she rides a LOT! Turns out her brand new custom made saddle was in her house, thank goodness. She's pretty sure someone was watching and knew she had the custom saddle, but she had taken it out so it was safe, thank goodness. However, she went nuts, and within a week the cops had located the saddle at a local pawn shop (they didn't even go out of town for goodness sake!!!), and then found her other two items at another pawn shop about 40 miles away. She had to wait to get the items until the thieves were apprehended, and even though the pawn shop had them, it bothered her immensely that she could not go and pick them up. She did finally get all items but it was 3 months. Turns out another neighbor had a saddle stolen as well.
Hoping you get your tools back eventually, Mogsie, but sometimes a kid's bike is far more important. :)

Hey good to see you here back at your own thread creation! Funny what things we find important when stuff gets stolen. We had a bunch of stuff stolen from our last house, jewelry, vcr, etc. and the thief put all the stuff in a pillow case when he left. The thing I think about most is that missing twin to my lonely pillow case that he didn't take.............maybe I'm just a bit tipped, lol!
