Mogsie that is hilarious.

I just found this new product and installed it yesterday where my phone bill will only be $4 a month it is VOIP. You have to buy a device but it will pay for itself for me in 10 months after that it is just $4! I know some people that have had it for quite a while and works really well. It is called ooma. They also offer real cheap international calls.

We use magic jack, 19 a year, works great. Been using it for around 3 years now. The thing you need to buy is (i think) 39 or so.

I love the fact it sends a email to me for voice messages. If our power is out or the internet off anyone calling just leaves a message, and a email is sent.
I can take our phone out in the yard, so far have not found any spot it loses the connection to the base in the house.

Yay!! Home from work! Don't have to go back until Wednesday!! Gonna play with my pond! I think I'm gonna make one of those hoops to put my hyacinths in. I wish the media that I ordered would get here so I can finish putting my Skippy filter and waterfall filter together!

mogsie over here ATT did the same thing they sent almost all there call centers to the Philippines and I have been telling friends they have the right to demand to speak to an american ..Was down cleaning the pond and watched a little finch fly over and before I could chase him he jumped down to the waterfall to get a drink Aggie swam up grabbed him and took him under .I had to get the net to stop Aggie so she would let the bird go .I then fished the little wet guy out and looked to see if he was OK .He shook himself off a couple of times primped himself hopped over to the grass and shook himself off again and then flew over to the finch feeder .Funny thing is I have 4 bird baths out by the feeder and had just filled them again before this happened .I guess it must have been a dare from his bird buddies and hope no more take a dare like that I give them fresh water 3 times a day what more do they need .geeze

I was looking at that magic jack buy get my internet and phone line from Century link and internet with there home phone line is less than 20 dollars a month but if I give up my lanline it is 59 dollars a month plus then have 911 emergency links for here lost .Thats how 911 tracks you if there is an emergency and you can not give your address. My nephews are EMS workers down here and said they have problems with some of those phone services .But century link for my home phone keeps going up .For a phone I barely ever use .So how does yours work and how do you get your internet addy .I would love to save money on this stupid phone service .The taxes cost more than the actual phone service .We have county ,state,911,411,and then surcharges added on

When I setup my phone service you enter in your address and then 911 is setup. Works just like a lan line. Now if I move then I have to change my address or they would show up at my old house. Some of them you have to have your computer on all the time and others you do not.

Has anyone built their own floating island using spray foam? I found a site with directions (although it doesn't take a rocket scientist) but in reading other threads, some people were saying the Koi were nibbling at it in the pond and taking chunks out....is that possible?? Was thinking about making one until I read that... If anyone wants me to post a link to the directions, just let me know...

I made one out of a foam water noodle cut down to 36" connected end to end then I put one of those coco basket liner things over it. I didn't put anything in it this year but it did float and will hold some flowers next year. I got the idea from someone else on this forum.

I would like to build one of Koiguys floating plant holders, but haven't been able to get to Lowes to get materials...
What do you use to hold the noodles together?
