"Future DJ......Just like Daddy!".

Our 6 year old grandson being taught how to scratch by his Dad. Scratching is a DJ or turntablist technique used to produce distinctive sounds by moving a vinyl record back and forth on a turntable while optionally manipulating the crossfader on a DJ mixer.

It's about 3am, Cathy and I are both up. Our dear daughter-in-law and precious granddaughter were in a car accident lateTuesday afternoon. Both were shakened but are physically okay. The teenager driver of the other car was not seriously injured. As best we know the young driver swerved to speed pass slow traffic and hit Lalia's van sending it sideways up and over a sidewalk. We are so very thankful yet nervous about our loved ones accident. The van was not so lucky. Seems it may be totaled. The young driver and his parents have accepted responsibility for the accident.

Thank you dear Lord for your grace.

Very glad they were not hurt and the teen also. Hope this is a lesson for the teen to learn at a young age to be more careful and to not be in such a hurry. Life goes by fast ,we don't need to rush around like it's our last second on earth tho.Everyone needs to just chill and ease on down the road :helm2:

Wow, scary situation indeed, Lou! Totally agree with Addy, vehicles can be replaced, people not so much! Glad they were shaken, and not seriously hurt.
I went to a visitation last night, girl that went through grade and high school with my daughter. She had melanoma cancer, and after a long battle, the cancer won. Very sad situation. Family of 2 girls, she was oldest, younger sister got married just a year ago. Linzi was Salutatorium (sp?) of her class, in Honors, Track, Volleyball, and got full ride scholarship to run track in college. She was one of those "had it ALL", and I mean everything. She was model gorgeous, best attitude, nice person, never met an enemy, just had it all. So to see someone die at such a young age, and her parents my age, makes me step back and be so thankful for what I have. Same for my kids, they are so thankful for the choices they are allowed to have in their lives, and they have been so successful. Praying tonight for that wonderful family, hoping God will help ease their pain, and show them the way on with their lives eventually.

Nope, that would not have made sense, for your pond to cause you problems on a nice day, Sissy! Hope you are not in the path of that winter storm heading for the east coast! I saw on the news at noon today that Boston is estimated to get 31" possibly! OMG, will that be a record for one storm? All of you on the east coast, in the path of that storm, I sure hope you have food supplies already stored up, because I'll just bet by tonight there will be no bread, milk and eggs left in any of the stores. Stay safe, and stay warm!!!
