Wifey's Cajun Meatball Stew was so flavorfully rich you could have it for desert. Seriously, this down to earth stew is a crowd pleaser. I'm providing a recipe similar to Cathy's no-recipe version. The main ingredient is "Love".
Snowing just as forecasted. While the snow is sticking to lawns, roofs and such, it is not on the water drenched streets. We generally get far more ice than snow. I took a picture of our pond since the snow on the big stones is quite pretty. Will post later. Time for a nap.

CAJUN MEATBALL STEW
Ingredients:
MEATBALLS
1 lb Ground round or chuck
1 1/2 c Soft bread crumbs (3 slices)
2 tb Each minced parsley
Cold water
1/2 Clove garlic; crushed
1 Egg
1/4 ts Each cayenne pepper
1/4 c Vegetable oil
4 Green onions; trimmed and
Minced (save tops for gravy)
2 ts Salt
GRAVY
Roux
Seasoning
Note: This stew is best when made in a Iron Dutch Oven (cast iron pot with cover)
