We have decided to sell off my husbands baseball card collection and basketball and even posted them on a card sight way cheaper than what they are worth .So trying to get rid of some of the things in the house also .I guess it is time we realize to loose a lot of things in our lives and get new wills made out and check all our life insurance policies to up date every thing .Amazing how you see life after this .

Countryescape, where do you get free books for iPad? All we have found must be purchased. Cathy would love free books as she is an avid reader.
Lou, I have an Ipod, and I have Kindle loaded on it, which is free. I order books from Amazon, only free ones, then they download to my Ipod through Kindle, at least that's how I think it works! Others are right, you can also get free books from your library, but my local library is in the closest town, I live in the country, so a library card costs me over $100 per year, not worth it when I can get free books. The only problem with free books is if you like to read series books. They will likely have the first book in the series, and then you have to pay for the others. I simply wait for them to become free. :)
She recently mentioned, again, that I tend to ask folks too many questions meaning I'm too nosy. That one hit home since I love to talk and ask questions. So my pond loving friends if ol' Big Lou has ever been too nosy with you I hope you will accept my apology.

"L"
No need to apologize for being too nosey. If people on here think you ARE too nosey, they simply will not answer your questions. I've never seen you post anything I thought was too nosey or person. So, keep on posting!
I see you are "going away" for a while! We will all be praying you will be back very soon! Take care, wherever you are going, and glad you have your loving wife that will be with you. See, this is a good thing, that she is not working. :)

Must be something wrong with me, I loved it, but then again I love to be scared, love Halloween too! I remember the first haunted Halloween house I went to, it was in the school gymnasium. I was about 7 years old and they scared the living cRaP out of me! From then on I was addicted to the scare the crap out of me s***!

I love to be scared also but that elevator one I'm not sure I would survive. After it was over it would be funny but during it not sure cuz it seemed so real! I mean your brain at that time would not be able to grasp that it wasn't real cuz it happens so fast. I watch all the horror, gory, thriller stuff I can and it just doesn't scare me much at all anymore. Guess I'm hardened to it all now. Thunder and lightning scare the crap outta me tho. Think it's cuz we don't hardly ever get any...............love it tho! Can't wait till we get another one

I think they know too Cathy and it is so comforting to me when I don't feel well to have my cat there. I can feel her warmth and hear her purring, very relaxing sound. She likes to lick my arms too and it's actually soothing. I'm glad Sunny is helping " L" to get well :sun_smiley:
