Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
For me, Black Friday means excessive people watching to the MAX!!! I do NOT go at the door-opening times, that's just plain crazy. I have only done that one time in my life, way back when my kids were young, and wanted something they only had a certain number.of. I totally disagree with stores opening on Thanksgiving Day evening (6 or 8 p.m.) for people to come shop! And, there are other stores that are showing sale prices on Wed. for goodness sake. I do, however, like to get a good deal, but when I can get the same deal at 10 a.m. as others that cram the doors at 5 a.m., I'm going later! Less crowds, less waiting in lines, same amount of stuff for the most part. My favorite place to shop, BTW, is Menards! It's like Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Sissy, I'm in your book, favorite place is hardware type.

Already wished everyone Happy Thanksgiving so I thought I would like to share our menu.

Cathy is cooking a small pork sirloin roast stuffed in six slits with a mixture of Cajun seasonings, fresh crushed garlic, slice of green onion and a drop of Tobassco sauce. She then generously rubbed with entire roast with the same dry seasoning. Add petit green peas, rice with natural pork roast drippings gravy, roasted potatoes and the result is a perfect holiday meal for two. Forgot to mention a Dutch apple and a pumpkin pie.

After such a delious meal it's now dap time for us both.

Geez I just started cooking our turkey about an hour ago. All you easterners will be in bed when we start eating. Yum " L" your dinner sounds delicious. We bought a 20lb turkey and it barely fits in the pan. DH likes to make his yummy turkey soup from the leftovers. Course we will have way more leftovers for just eating on too.

Mogsie I have those things packed in photobucket up to the ying yang...........it's addicting

Oh I don't get them off of there most of the time. I mostly get them free off the internet but you can get them off photobucket. I put them on photobucket to save them there and when I want to use one I just go to my acct and choose one to put on a post. You just rt click on the image and choose save as and I send them to my desktop first and then download to photobucket. Just google animations and you come up w/ a bunch of sites.

Fish must talk to each other.... have these same two big koi for over 20 years, and the big orange one is the domant fish, and the smaller white koi has to always swim behind and wait his turn for the food... always. They have been together for the 21 years in the same "top" pond, never once moved out of pond ever... every picture I have, you will almost always see the big orange one in front... or circling close behind. The big orange one MUST eat first, and only after she is full, will the smaller white koi even think about biting the food from my fingers. Just the way they are, just like dog behavior, the big orange fish is domant!
