We have been getting extreme heat here and the lack of rain does not help ,a lot of crops destroyed .Where we need the rain we don't get and where they are getting rain they don't need .I have so far rebuilt part of my pond and just have to rebuild the other water fall make it wider and put in the new filter

A lot more to do but it takes time .Did a lot of landscaping and mulch work ,12 truckloads of mulch I have spread .

Then got hit by a bad storm and fridge went out so decided new fridge and new range and new countertops and moved the other appliances to the other house .

The neighbor boy said the farmer north of him, combining the corn that is still a little big green, is getting 5-20 bushel per acre! Normal good yield I think is over 100 bu/acre. They are just cutting it and running through the fields to get rid of it, and mulch down the stalks. It's a total shame. I know the field across the road from that one has no ears, NONE. That farmer will be wasting the gas to run over the stalks, but it has to be done, or burn the field, which is not allowed. Lots of farmers in the area lost lots of money this year, LOTS! If they didn't have a reserve, they will be hurting big time. Sad, very sad! Now, Isaac is heading up into the midwest by the weekend. I feel really bad for all those getting pummeled by him right now. We are supposed to get 2-4" of rain starting on Fri. night through Sun. a.m. Can use the rain, but hoping for no high winds. Everything is so pretty in my yard right now, since it started raining again about 3 weeks ago now. Stay safe, those of you in Isaac's wrath!!!

I went out last night to check on my pond because everything on the puter was acting up and found so far 9 babies all long and skinny .About an inch or so long up in the waterfall so that puts the hold on rebuilding that off longer and they may be koi darn it .Three of them are gold black and white and they are not solid more like spotted and a couple all black .I have not been able to get a pic yet though .I tried turning off the water fall to take a pic and they hide as soon as it goes off .Darn it going to have to find them homes .Maybe I can later put them over at the other house .

No Mogisie, have not been to the Yukon, I have been north of the 56th parallel (northern Alberta and BC) camping on the northern Alberta BC border, was very remote, sun never really set, did get dark like dusk, but never pitch black, sun just kinka went around the horizon, sun never completely set, could still see the glow of sun, was weird. It was very wild, every kind of wild beast up there, bears, moose, buffalo, Wolves, wolverines, cougars, and huge ravens, never saw such large ravens before! I found wild blueberries, strawberry, raspberries, you could smell them, they were small but very tasty!!
