Sorry, ladies, but if it hadn't been for a couple of guys many years ago named Banting and Best, I wouldn't be around anymore. Not exactly a drug, I know, but Insulin has given me a relatively normal life, and I thank
God for my endocrinologist.

LOL ladies, poor John .... NOTTTTTT!
I had breast cancer now 9 years ago, first one in my family, and now know I do NOT carry the heriditary gene. Fluke thing, but glad it's gone. Took chemo, radiation, got through it all with flying colors. Besides losing all my hair (worst part in my opinion) no one would have known I had cancer. I don't plan to ever get it again, but taking this drug will help me rest assured. In my case, I think I was on birth control pills too long. Used to be off by 40, then when I turned 39, doctor said they upped it to 42, then at 42 they said 45. I got cancer 1 month before I turned 45. I tell everyone I know to get off the piill ASAP!! I should have had tubes tied, but after 2 C-Sections, I thought it was ex's obligation to get a vasectomy, but he was a weeny so I should have done it. Live and learn, and I am LIVING!!! :)

good that you are healthy now and now that it takes a lot to get through that as I have had 4 cousins with it and know it takes a lot of strength and family support to get through and say i kicked you in the butt now stay away .I think it also helps to have a healthy life style plenty of veggies and plenty of fresh air and a good outlook on life .I am guessing you are watching you health and not overdoing it ,but then again I see what you have done with your pond in a short amount of time makes me hope you now found your zen place .I had 2 boys and after that it was enough for me and no more .Told the doctor thats it for me and signed the papers and no more children and no regrets either for doing it and went off birth control just after my 30th birthday and my sons are almost 11 years apart in age .My youngest is going to be 26 in July and other 1 will be 37 this year in November .Took me awhile to find out where they come from and how but after that learning curve ,NO MORE :lamp5:  :razz:1 heart attack two almost 9 lb babies healthy is enough for me .Someone else populate the world because it is not gonna be me LOL

Got my Acer for free!!! Now their giving them away like cell phones if you have a three year contract. Its like "driving new" every three years you can get a new cell AND tablet!!! I thought that was cool!!! Everything "touch screen" "wipe clean", and fold like little book when done. It take's videos and pictures too!!! How cool is that!!! Love my tablet!
I should get a commission, pretty good line huh? Got you thinking real hard now sissy!!!

CE glad you got through that horrible tx and are free of the cancer! Only contact I had w/ the C was a mole on my back that had the melanoma and had that removed and all is well for now. Don't want to ever have to go through what you went through. We also had 2 kids and DH was brave and took care of any chances of having anymore so I was able to stop the birth control in my 20's. Glad for that!

Sissy oh my you had a heart attack? Glad you are ok now. My son was 9lbs 11oz and he's 6'4" now!

Colleen I like my little Acer Netbook but taking it outside it gets glare so use it in the family room as a 2nd computer and hook it up to the tv to watch movies and tv from the net. I can use it if I sit under the umbrella out on the deck in the shade and so handy to take it traveling. Neat that you get your stuff free every 3 yrs!

I just have a cheapo cell phone and hardly ever use that ,don't text or send pics .I guess they don't offer that here .i have ntelos for my cell phone service and 2 phones only 44 dollars with tax and 1500 minutes a month .My son uses the other phone .I have had them for over 6 years and so far never a problem .I go up to the Blue Ridge mountains and my friend has verizon and she gets no service up there in spots and she ends up having to call her hubby from my phone .

My sons are both 6'2" but one is a little heavier than the other .I had a heart attack when my first son was born while I was in labor ,doctors could not figure out which doctor was which and what to do first and ended up having the baby on the elevator on my way up to the cardiac care unit and then had to deal with the hassle of the health insurance because they were confused which came first heart or baby and how to pay and hospital was a little confused back then too .
