Sissy what ever happened w/ you getting the new pup friends for Pee Wee?
Darn people never showed up and waited there for hours .We had agreed to meet by the gas station in town across from My little Eatery business and even took the lap top e-mailed them and even instant message them .I was so ticked off .I got there and waited until 7 in the evening and nothing.I even told the eatery if they saw them I was right across the street at the auction and I parked at the eatery .They even watched for them .They all know me from going there for the past 9 years now .I have even e-mailed them since I got home and nothing nothing nothing .I just can't understand it .Poor pee wee has no buddies yet .I have been trying other places but some people here want over 450 dollars for 1 puppy .Funny thing is they seemed so glad the pups were going to a good home and be spoiled .

Hey JW, like the doctor and guns thing, that was real good. Was thinking about lots of people I know that went to see there doctors for minor stuff, doc gave them meds for 20 years for minor stuff, and now they have major stuff wrong with them cause of the meds. I'm thinking that some doctors are really more like witch doctors, if you get sicker, wouldn't you stay away from them then?

I had this horrible pain in my back and stomach after my beloved Sadie passed, could hardly walk some mornings, had to go to work with a back brace with these heat pads stuffed by my back and people as work could tell I was in pain, even though I tired to hide it, my face must have showed it. I was real worried that I wouldn't be able to work anymore, did not know what as wrong with me, it lasted for a couple months. I heard this other lady I knew at work had similar pain and went to her doctor, they said she had cancer, she went for treatment, they said it was all gone, then she suddenly just up and died. Was real freaked out and I hate doctors, refused to go, no matter how much pain I had. Went and got natural stuff, like shark cartilage and curcumin and other herbal stuff and guess what, all better now! Fixed myself! Maybe the pain might have been brought on by the loss of Sadie, don't know, but I'm all better now and no pain in the back or stomach, do lots of hard work lifting and stuff and work. :) :) :)

Glad you are ok now Colleen. Not fun to be in pain.
Addy I see those ads all the time and glad I hate to take pills cuz seems like they think everything will kill ya eventually!
I do take Ibuprofen for aches and pains but that's it and don't take much of it. When I had kidney stones and went to the ER at our Cascade Hospital cuz it was close...........we call it Casket Hospital cuz it's not the greatest place to go for help. They gave me too much pain meds and they kept telling me I needed to breath cuz my oxygen levels went way down. I didn't know what I was doing and as we left the hospital I asked if I could have some for the road (I was happy and feeling no pain) and they gave me more to take right then as I staggered out the door leaning on my DH and when I got home my DH couldn't wake me up and had to carry my limp body over to the phone while he dialed the hospital back. I woke up standing up in his arms w/ him slapping me in the face, yikes! I couldn't figure out where I was or who or why he was hitting me. They told him on the phone "Well she was alright when she left here". They just wanted to make sure they covered there arse's and that's all they cared about. After that I refused to take the pain meds they prescribed for me. Took my Ibuprofen instead. I wonder if my DH hadn't looked over at me on the couch and noticed I didn't look right if I would still be here today?

Wow jw! those idiots! my late hubby died cause of prescribed pills, similar to what almost happened to you. The meds caused his heart rate and breathing to slow down to a stop, the final stop.

Yep it is very easy to just drift away into la la land and never wake up if you are given too many pills. I just don't understand why they would give me more when dumb out of it me asked for more after having breathing problems while laying on their gurney? I guess we just thought and took it for granted that they knew what was best! Bad move..........never will I trust them 100% and will question everything even when they look at you like you should just shut up and do what they say! Trying my best to stay away from hospitals and doctors as much as possible now!

My father was dying from liver failure. The docs had him on all kinds of experimental drugs to try and slow his failing liver. I will never forget how he looked and whent through on some of those drugs. He eventually quit taking them. He said they made him feel worse. We think he went sooner than he should have do to this kind of stuff.

If I listened to my doc, I would be on 4 different meds now, diet change, walking, the pond cured me, lol didn't really have anything wrong, but they look at labs that can vary and say! hey you need a pill!

Yep they want to give you a pill for this and a pill for that like it was candy! Its a never ending circle. Give you a pill for this thing and then oh you need a pill to correct what the first pill did and so on and so on!

I'm with you guys. I don't take anything, except my daily "chemo" drug that I feel is necessary. It's like a low dose of chemo I guess. The doctors says I need to take calcium, but the pills I need to take are horse pills, need to take 2. I gag on them. I figure I drink milk, always have, and I'm outside (Vit. D), and eat healthy so why would I need to take more pills! I took Prilosec for a while, and it was wonderful, then I started backing out of it, one pill every other day, then 1/2 pill every other day, and finally quit taking it. I get heartburn every now and then but decided a Tums every now and then is better than getting hooked on meds that you don't need but "every now and then". And, quit taking allergy pill daily, too. No different than when I was taking it. Feel better, and sleeping better. You can't stop a pill and figure things will go back to normal, as it seems like drugs stay in your system for up to 30 days. I prefer to be drug free all the way around! Take Alleve or Ibuprophen for pain, but not very often. High tolerance of pain. :)

Doctors are trained by pharmaceutical companys, that is a conflict of interest, they should all be fired! If you go to a doctor and complain about any old thing, they will quickly write a prescription for drugs. Doctors were getting lots of "perks" to get their patients on drugs and winning free vacations! The whole system is very flawed. They tried to get me on drugs 20 years ago for asthma, but the drugs warnings scared me plus some of the meds made my heart race. I quit taking all asthma medication soon after it was prescribed. Had a bad feeling about the drugs. Read an article that Dr.Gifford Jones wrote, he said many asthma people dying these days due to the drugs, he said many people many years ago used to wheeze into their old age just fine, but suddenly there all croaking now, he said the drugs were like "whipping a tired horse when it was down" and their heart just can't take it. If you are wheezing, just take it slow that day, learn breathing techniques. Had real bad asthma, did not listen to doctors, fixed myself, large amounts of coconut oil good for lungs too, so is coffee, clears airways naturally. Take lots of cod liver oil, best source if vitamin D, which is helpful for asthma people too. A lady that I know from town took asthma pills for many years, she said the pills she took for her asthma (steroid pills) robbed her bones of calcium!

Sister had depression, took pills for over 20 years, I begged her not to take those pills, told her she seemed more depressed with pills, and she sure looked worse with the pills. Never listened to me, told me I was not a "doctor" and that I did not know what I was talking about. Now she has something much worse, from the pills.

Omg JW, is that you!!! Nice to see you!!! Nice picture!!! All this time I thought you were "Goldie" ha ha ha

Hope you guys out there on chemo get better real soon fast!!!! :) :) :) :)
Stay happy, happy is good!!! Good to hear chemo is low dose! Your alot braver than me I won't go to doctor anymore! Too scared of what I might hear. Funny my whole family except my one sister, is like that. My dad is eighty, my other sister is fifty, brother fifty one, mother is 76, I'm 47 this year, husband is 52, no of us go, even though we all have health care. Only the one sister that's eleven months older goes, she's the one that took pills for depression for years and is now worse. The rest of us just stick our head in the sand.......
