Aha then there is hope cuz I still have the stems of the ludwigia floating around in there. I will have to look closer at them and see if they have buds. We have been colder here then you guys CE so might take a bit longer to get going. Addy sent you the clover CE. I don't see mine coming to life yet but hopeful on that one too and also the Pennywort. Got most of the water lillies addy sent me planted in the pond yesterday but ran out of kitty litter. DH is supposed to pick me up 4 bags today so I'll have it on hand. Watch out for that Primrose I sent ya CE cuz I had so much of it growing all over the pond this year I had to trim it and now I'm trying to keep it in one area.................that will be funny to see and plants are prolly laughing at me now saying ha ha she tries so hard but we will win!

I'll watch them, JW. Last year I don't remember them being there, so they must have been behind something, or the roots were getting set, and this year I see them in about 5 different places. I did take a few of the starts and put them in pots, but those are not doing any better in the pots than the ones that are free-floating and attached to the pea gravel. Guess I'll be removing all those pots soon in my new bog. LOL That's ok, but hate the thought of dumping out all that kitty litter. Don't like clay, and that's all it is. Yuck! Maybe the cats will find it and use it for potty place. LOL Doubtful though, as it will be hard as a brick once it dries out, I would guess.

Those are the major white ones I'm aware of, too, Sissy.
PL, I said the same thing about other's ponds last year, and my bog does have a lot of plants, but get this. Besides buying 4 new plants, and separating them into lots of smaller pieces, I took what I bought last year, which was maybe 12 plants, and separated them and then planted them in my new bog. Not much cost this year, thank goodness. :) I will buy some floating plants like hyacinths and see if I can get them growing this year, but the ludwigia is going to come back full force, and that's a good floating spreading plant. I'm glad no leeches were attached to any of it that I sent to a few last year! I'd be happy to share more this year, once it starts going in the farm pond. I rake it out by the buckets full. LOL Let me know if anyone is interested in any. It's not ready yet, though, but I will take names and addresses (PM me) if you want any. :) I will warn you to rinse and treat it if you don't want the tiny snails, though, as there are lots of them. BUT, my koi eat them, and had a robin hopping in my waterfall last weekend, and it had to be picking out snails off the rocks, too. I figure they are food source, so I don't mind them at all.

Tonight my wife and I were sitting on a rock bench taking a break from pulling weeds and we were watching this robin who had a worm in its mouth. We watched the robin run along the top of the fence watching us, she walked around to the front of the fence by the driveway then disappeared behind a tree, a second later another one showed up in the tree on the corner of our house and that is when we saw the nest and the baby birds, it was the male and he was feeding them. He flew off and she came and fed them then just decided to sit on the nest.

How neat! Love the birds, the robins love to bath in the bog. We have a wren condo going on under or deck, three nests close to each other.

Neat sequence of pics, T'Man. Enjoyed them. Since I don't have any woods nearby, my barn swallows are my favorites. Got the round bales of hay moved from under their nesting sites in the barn, so I'm ready for them. They showed up last weekend. :)
