The endangered Rusty-patched bumble bee. This is the third year in a row I've seen this specie in my garden and it makes me happy every time. There are small restorations in the area that are putting a focus on this specie and using plant species that can help it survive and thrive, so it's great knowing my backyard also helps.

Cope's Gray Tree Frog. He usually comes down every night, sits roughly in that same spot (about 6' from ground), then calls down to his buddies already in the pond. Will typically join them later in the evening. Far as I can tell, this oak is his territory exclusively.

Found a poplar leaf gall. This insect looks to be the culprit

I so love the little hummers! They come around my one feeder and dive bomb each other like crazy fighting over who get to be there. Funny how some are allowed to feed peacefully together but others are not? I had 4 other feeders but they leaked like crazy.
