Yay! I really thought I scared her off for good yesterday but I was sitting out by the pond today and she landed in it right in front of me.

It does get a bit wild, but I love the flowers & how early it blooms.

It's pretty easy to keep in check in my pond but it does occasionally root into neighboring pots. I've wanted to try it in my bog filter but I wasn't sure if its one of those plants that would be too hard to get out of pea gravel.

It's taken over that shelf that the frog is sitting on & so firmly rooted in the gravel (no pots) I'm pretty sure it would take a herculean effort to remove it. Like, probably have to deconstruct the entire shelf! So I gave up & compromised with it. Removed the other plants from that area that it was 'eating', and am now just letting it duke it out in between the Black Gamecock Iris & the Ribbon Grass (both of which can hold their own against pretty much anything! lol) Not sure how hard it would be to remove/thin out from a deep pea gravel bed like a bog, but IME once it gets rooted in, it's staying!
