Do they have red bellies as I can't see their undersides?

It's more of a small orange area between their legs. I think it's usually a little more obvious on males than females, but you never really see it since they're usually hanging on to trees.

A few days ago I found a painted turtle in the grass near the road on front of my neighbor's house. I didn't know where else to put it so now it's on my pond. I've seen it a few times since but it dives as soon as I approach.

If it likes it there at your pond then it might stay for awhile.
Some times tho they wander off to find a mate I hear

Herself the Owl stopped by the pond before bedtime this morning. She studied and studied and finally took a dive into the lotus tub in hopes of a goldfish breakfast platter. All fish survived as well as both lotus buds! Whew!

It's kind of a guess, but she is just a bit larger than him.

Eating fish? Or do you not have fish? Uh oh if you do!

I haven't noticed any missing, but I add smaller cheap goldfish from time to time.

Do they eat tadpoles? Because I have about a million of those

I have read they will if they can't find other food. They prefer bugs, worms, etc. Think tadpoles may be a last resort. Fish will eat tadpoles if their mouths are big enough.

I saw one of the baby woodpeckers today! It was on my driveway, then started climbing up the tree. I wish I had my camera with me at the time, but it was great to see!

I had. Volunteer supervisor show up to monitor the leak testing of the bog.

My wife says it's a finch.

We peeked into the bluebird house last night and found this...

Then I found a doe that wanted me to keep tossing her nectarines off my tree all afternoon..

oh and I met a dragonfly that looked like he was smiling
