It's dark now, and just after 10pm, and only 63 degrees, but here I sit, by the ponds, outside in my bug free living room. The candles are burning bright, and I have been working on new ways to make the outdoor living room more cosy come fall. I have hung black drapes on the fence, between the bug net and the fence. It looks great, but I need more of these black thin cheap drapes to hang on fence, and make it like a "picture window" on the north and east fence surrounding this padio, and then the black drapes will warm the inside of the bug zone when chilly, and help stop the wind. Fall is coming, I have seen the odd leaf that has turned yellow already, and must prepare this shelter so I can enjoy it a while longer. I will leave the net up till all the leaves fall, that way the leaves won't get inside the padio.
Having a glass of wine, snuggled up to my big soft cushions, with a warm fuzzy sweater, all by myself cause the bad puppies want in the house, hubby working, and I am just relaxed, listening to the sound of the water and looking out toward the bottom pond, where a big globe is lit brightly and floating over the water. Sometimes words can say it all, you don't need a picture to imagine me here in Canada....
