Your pond/plants and fishy's look great and thanks Colleen I'm all relaxed now and ready to start my day! That Hornwort is looking so good and every time you mention it I think "oh darn I need to get over to that lake near here and see if that is Hornwort in there". I'm crazy for want of that stuff! It looks like it floats up around the top of the water or is it in shallow water where you have it?
Bear and Poppy look so happy being there w/ your hubby.

hornwort would be nice if the fish don't eat it all up.

Had to work today again. boy was I tired! So I had a big nap after work and feel better now, but now I will be wide awake all night, good thing I have tomorrow off

Addy you can get the horn wort to grow too, but the fish do eat it almost all up in the early spring, just don't throw out the little half eaten pieces as they regrow back This year I was worried for a while as it almost completely disappeared from the pond, but now it is back and growing very well again.... food for the fish next spring!

This weekend I will have a party for my honey in bug free zone by the pond, it will be his birthday on the 6th, but will have it this weekend, maybe Sunday or Monday as it is a long weekend holiday for us in Canada. I will make it extra special this year, cause last year he was too depressed to have a party cause we were so worried about his mouth cancer.
Life is good now, and my sweet pea is all better and no cancer left, so I will hang twice as many ballons and invite our friends to come and celebrate his birthday.

My favorite flower this year is the pink round zinna bush, picked it up this year and I really like it, must save seeds....
My big Casa Blancas lillys are blooming so nice and they smell up the whole yard!

Thanks everybody, I consider myself so lucky and thankful for our life, when I think about the three people at work who I new that died in the last year of cancer. There older guy Henry, I used to joke with in the produce section, then Nelly, the lady who was my age, who worked at one of the checkouts, and the other lady Connie, who worked the night shift, it seemed like one day they were there and then two months later they were dead! Then there was one of the mangers who lost her sister who was my age as well, she could not eat anything for months, by the time they found out she had cancer, it was everywhere and she was too weak to survive the treatments and died just after Christmas. Seem strange to know so many who passed of cancer so quick, so we have to be grateful for every day we have on earth, and live our live to the fullest, and enjoy our beautiful yards and ponds, for we know the days are growing shorter now and fall is just around the corner. I heard it was only plus 4 c, in Calgary the other day....

Our store is quite big and there are lots of workers so it is probally about normal rates of cancer per population. I think there are over 500 workers or more, I think, cause they have lots of part time workers, then the night shift employs alot as well, as they stock shelves all night. In our bakery department alone we have about 20 workers alone, then the other departments have many as well. The produce section alone must have over 60 workers, I am just guessing, then there is the Deli, the seafood, the Meat department, clothing, housewears, beauty, and many many other departments like fresh sushi bar and pharmaceuticals, there is even a doctor office in our building!

Thanks you JW for your extra lovely display, it really looks good and I will show it to my hubby when he comes home! :)

Yes, it is very huge, and then they have the big greenhouse and flowers in the spring and early summer too. We also have a gas bar and a a separate liquor store and tobacco store as well, it is very big and I get almost everything I need there!

ha ha ha, funny Sissy, but they just call it a gas bar, you fill up your truck instead of your glass. And I got myself some nice fresh roasted Cuban coffee beans so I am currently enjoying the taste of Cuba!

Last night I took some pictures of the front yard, the little white lights are all solar LED lights, and you can see that those little white lights go into stream in the front yard pond, the water seems to not effect the solar led lights,

Night time shot of front pond, then the daylight shot....
Night time shot of front boulevard, then daylight shot...

My Sweet Pea's Birthday weekend is here! Getting the bug free zone all "deck out for the party"! Sitting in the dark, outside by the pond, posting these pictures I took a couple hours ago. I blew all the ballons up all by myself! I tried not to overdo it, but this year is so very special cause my honey is alive and well! :) I need to wrap the presents up all up nice, Poppy and Bear saved their allowance money up and asked me to get "daddy" the winning lottery tickets.....

I thought it was going to rain, but it was nice, no wind blowing right now, wish you were here to see how nice my bug free padio is with the net keeping all the ballons from flying away ....

LOOK at the Decorations by the pond ! :)

Me and my honey John will have coffee here by the pond in the morning!
