The big load of ultra cheap "garden junk" I scored from the second hand store was unbelievable! Just look at all the stuff I got now Sissy!!!

That girl with the long hair made from twirlled grass, wooden legs and wings, holding a pretty bouquet of flowers, with a pretty flowered garden dress, little white picket fence, metal water jug and cute little yellow chicks, cost me a total of $2.50!

Then there was the other little garden girl with tiny wooden bird house, and other spring stuff!

I love all my garden junk! ;)

Hubby has to go for tests in Calgary, will be leaving Tuesday on the bus that picks him up at the door and will be home Wednesday evening. He is happy to take the bus and hates my driving anyway, says he don't NeeD ME anymore!! He does not feel like he needs to hide as much now that face healing nicely. He never checked his lottery tickets for so long cause he was in "hidding"! Glad that he feels more confident and I just am happy for my sweet pea!

Did I mention hubby had to see a "wound specialist" on Friday, and his leg and arm still have some healing to do as the graft was very deep, down to the tendons. Home care still comes once a week to rewrap leg and arm bandages. The leg is wrapped tight and his skin is falling off and red from the months of tight wrappings, and it still bleeds a little. I had not seen the wound for a couple weeks or so cause I was at work when home care came, so when I saw that it was red and irritated, skin falling off, and wound still not healed and bleeding, I broke down and could not stop crying, was so overwhelmed. The leg is slowly getting better, just it caught me off guard to see the "set back" on the leg, and now he is going to be on antibiotics to help heal the last deep spot. I don't know why I cried, I have seen him so much worse, and he is so much better now, got to quit stressing over the little things.... I think the fish tanks I got were more for me, cause the stress of the whole hospital ordeal took a toll on me too! Spring can't come quick enough this year....

Thanks Addy, I doing good, just had a "mental relapse". When I think all the torture my poor honey had to go thru, its hard to see, and then there he is, sitting all happy and joking, with his big eyes and baggy clothes. Poor sweet pea is still got some healing to do, but were getting there, slowly. The nurses just love him, and said he should go on U-tube to diacourage other people from chewing tobacco.

My mother just loved all my new second garden/spring junk and it is nice that she can still drive down the hill and come over for Sunday dinner. You would not believe all the people I knew that had big bucks and were well off just a few short years ago, now are shopping at the second had store with me! I love the stuff I can get cheap, take it home and wash it good or freeze it good outside and everything fresh again! :)

You are doing good Colleen and you have to have a little let it out times too. Showing emotion is a good thing and does not hurt us, just shows how much we care. Happy times are ahead of you, just get through these rough spots and let hubby heal up real good and life will be bright and cheery again soon for both of you love birds or love fishies
