Yes, my little glass jars of muck, plants and little snails. I may do another larger setup this spring and place in a different location. Then I think I set something up in my old fish tanks that I have, get hornwort and/or monkey flower growing in it, guppies, plants and snails. That muck I used to make, I would add sometimes bagged "top soil" as well as peat and muck, and work it like "dough" in a pail with my bare hands, and place little plant snips into the mud pots. I used this mud for many different plants, I found the pond plant snips would root quick in this soil as well, as sometimes I would small gravel to the top of baskets.

Been busy, thinking about getting a new couch for the honey at the end of the month. I got my eye on a leather set with a ten year warrenty. The honey sleeps right now mostly on the couch in front of the TV, and couch was cheep, but I got what I paid for, it was junk, and now it is all sagged. He likes it but I want him to have a better place to sleep on confortably. I would have to seek it into the house and have it all nice in place before he gets back, and he is leaving at the end of the month to go to Calgary for a check up, so I could have it delivered into the house and in place nice when he gets home, so as not to distub him too much.

leather gets sticky in heat and you will have to watch the dogs toenails .I had a set in my family room in NJ and my hunter crawled up on it and I guess he dug little for a comfy spot and sliced it open . Would have cost me over 200 dollars to have it fixed and then called manufacturer and they just sent me a new cushion ,no charge ,i was lucky there .

We have a leather sofa set, late hubby bought it. It never gets sticky, it is that un-shiny leather. Very comfortable in the heat or cold. I do remember it cost some bucks though. Might have been called cow hide sofa vs leather. You can see the scratches etc the cows got. .
Nothing better than a comfy sofa to lay on!

Well that's what I thought, really wanted to get hubby the new leather couch but he said he does not want it and hates the idea of getting rid of the old one, I think I will have to wait, the thought of a new couch really stressed the hubby out. I should have not told him and just done it when he was out of town. I really wanted him to have this new big plush couch, but I think he feels bad and does not want me to buy it for him. I will go back to painting and doing little things for now, going to do the bathroom.... now that he does not want me buying him a new couch, I saw a new sink for the bathroom.... help!!!

I finally took the tree down and got another little tank for the front porch that was on sale as well for 50 bucks, same as the other new one, but I put little baby Plattys in that tank.

Found some new fairies to play with in the garden when I get the fairy garden all set up by the pond.....

We bought a couple of leather chairs similar to this one and hate them. We ended up putting throws over them as we don't like the feel of them. Glad we didn't buy the leather couch and love seat. Would much rather have bought the nice big overstuffed regular material comfy ones...........oh well next time!

Keeping the old couch now cause hubby says it "fits him" so I will just save the money and not create more "debit", now that I will have all the debt paid soon, I think I was "dreaming" of ways to spend money! I get these crazy "run and spend" thoughts... then I remember, save the money and then get new kitchen. :)

The nice ten gallon ten that was full of wild guppies is no more. The wild guppies in that tank suddenly started to die off when I put the nice big fancy new Guppies in that tank. new guppies are doing great! Old wild guppies got "AIDS" from the new guppies, which seem to be ammune to this as the new big fancy guppies are have had lots of big baby's and soon the tank will be filled with large fancy guppies. I will have to be careful not to spread it to the other tanks that have wild guppies. Only wild guppies are affected by this " disease".

Have to play with more tanks now, then got to work in the greenhouse getting ready for spring soon!

Butt dents, that's funny! I'll have to remember that one sissy

I thought you were kidding about the aids thing and the fish Colleen but now I see you are serious. Wow too bad for the fishies but I'm sure you will have many more of the new colorful ones very soon!

Yes, I think they bred this "AIDS" like virus into the new fancy guppies long ago, to prevent the fancy guppies from going "wild" again. Many years ago maybe 24 years or so, I had a couple fancy guppies and after a few generations they went all wild. This was quite common. I have heard this before from a pet store owner years ago, and I did not really believe it, but now I see it is true! It is quite strange that only the old wild guppies are dying in that tank while the big fancy ones are just fine. Although I am very happy with the new batch of fancy baby guppies! :)

I have been very busy with the indoor tanks, making them all nice, seems like winter is a good time to play indoors with my fish tanks. The ponds outside are just fine, not to much to report, other than it has been very warm and all the snow has turned to puddles of water so I did not go outside to take pictures as the sudden melt has caused standing water puddles everwhere and the water won't drain very well as the ground is still frozen.

Well that is really interesting to find out. Sure hope no one ever lets any of those fancy guppies w/ aids loose in the wild natural areas where these wild guppies live.
