gosh a shame doctors where not on the ball when they first looked as it would have been tons better for him and you .It seems the whole family gets effected by an illness and it is never easy .I just hope all you hubby has gone through works out and he will be back to normal .But I had a big shock today went to the lab to get more blood drawn and cops everywhere and found out to guys shot at each other and turned out to be road rage at there walmart store that is close to the lab . Both are in stable condition at the hospital.Just heard on the news how they are and all I know is the lab locked the doors and no one was allowed out until scene was secured .Here they carry guns all the time and do not thrust any one .it was at the walmart parking lot in Martinsville VA geeze people are nuts .

Men! They sure do get road rage! My hubby got road rage all the time and I would have to tell him to let it go, back them his blood pressure was high and he was letting every little thing bother him. I told him the stress was just not worth getting your blood pressure high.

Today at the park, Poppy did not want to get out of the truck to make a pee cicicle in the snow, she just hates the extreme cold and will not come out until I call and call, then I leave the truck running and door open so that she can jump right back into nice warm truck and warm her little paws. Finally she jumped out and made a quick Pee, Bear does not seem so affected by the cold, he has more fur like his mom did.

Oh those pictures were taken at 1130am in the morning, gee, look how sunny and bright!

Hubby was extra funny tonight, he came home from Calgary after a couple more days of treatments. So he said "they dropped his head and it rolled on the floor" yesterday while at Calgary hospital. "Heads will roll" he said, I said What!?!? They have this plaster cast of his head that they use to hold him in place while he gets "zapped" . So he tells the technicians "things are bad enough!" Chewing tobacco cost me an "arm and leg" (which are still healing from deep skin grafts used to repair face after cancer surgery), and "I got my foot in my mouth!" (Bone from foot used to repair jaw in mouth) "BUT now you dropped my head on the floor and it ROLLED!" I guess the one technician lady laughed so hard she almost pee'd herself and had to go for a break, hubby said.

Was very nice to laugh with my sweet pea tonight, something we have not done in a long while... :D

The little Christmas break from the radiation seems to have helped him heal, now he just has six more days left, spread out over the holidays, and he will be done on the 8th of January! His face is healing quite nice and blending in good now, the surgeons were masterful at their craft! Going to make a pot of nice coffee now, honey should be waking up soon. Spring is getting closer too ;)

Yes all well with my honey, there is a light at the end of the road now, and Poppy and Bear see it too! :)

The radiation to his face, made all the face hair fall off, down to the chin, now he says that he looks like the Quaker Oat Man, cause his beard now starts at the chin! I think he looks cute :) Bear Too:D
