Perfect place for her............pole cat under a pole barn :)
I hear they make nice pets w/o the stinker still attached. Would never suggest taking a wild animal out of the wild tho unless it was hurt and needed fixing up for a bit.

I've read that too.
They also eat mice and voles, so we have our own "smelly cat".

We took the dogs out for a walk today, after we received 10 inches of snow yesterday.
The snow in the circle garden is up to my chest in height! It's raised a foot so that means it's 4 feet deep!
I'm starting to think we live in an altered reality here.
When the sun is shining, it's doing a good number on the snow , but still...

There is hope, jw.
The increasing angle of the sun means the snow that does fall melts faster.
There were some areas on the driveway that we were walking in slush.
Shaded areas showed how much snow we really received.

You need a huge propane heater! or some good sunny days.
I think we are finally done with snow, maybe. Snow one day, 65 the next.

Yes it probably was easy for you to say...how's that rain by the way? :)

I'm concerned about the fish but impressed that the pond breathers have kept going through this tough winter.

I hope your fish survived and if they did then you would know those breathers really worked.

Rain is not falling at the moment but has been off and on for the past several days. Think nice weather is coming for tomorrow, not sure after that but we are never done w/ rain for very long here in the Spring. Nice grass growing weather, ugh!

We're supposed to have some nice weather here too this week. Up to 17C/62F.
I don't think I'll see any open water on the pond until sometime in May though.
Hopefully I'm wrong.

62f would be a really nice break for you and if it kept up for awhile you could be laying out in your hammock soon even if the ice is still on the pond :)
