I have been wearing them for the past 8 years. The met guard on the top also helps the tops of my feet from getting burned from welding. Sometimes when welding a large spark will land on the top of your boots and burn thru the leather leaving a nice scar on top of your foot.

Christmas time is supposed to be cold and snowy Colleen. Wait till after Christmas for nice warm weather................which somehow I think will not be coming your way for quite awhile unless global warming takes a direct hit on Medicine Hat w/ a vengeance

Cold at 65??? Hey it's warming up here really nice now up to 28f this morning! We are supposed to get above freezing today! Wow so nice now that it will be above freezing! :)

I could tell the weather was going to warm up again yesterday cause you can see it in the sky. When there is no chance of a warm Chinook coming, then sky is just dull grey and cold. Poppy jumped back into truck yesterday cause at the park as there was still a cold chill in the sir and my fingers were freezing then.

Well what can I say the pond is positively basking at 13.8c at the moment that I dont mind , its so mild here in the Southwest of the UK , wet yes very but the rin is keeping the big freeze away at the moment the koilove it and are having one meal a day .
The oil Heated radiator is doing will within the filter housing keepig the air warm thus warming the water by those needed degrees.
I've just been offered 10 cutoffs of white policarbonate to replace the double glazed windows that are there at the momentall fora low price of £40 cool lol

OK, big temperature drop this morning, went from just above freezing at 4am to 5 degrees F. The cold Arctic wind reached out it's long icy fingers and touched the pond this morning, now it looks mostly froze, so I turned on the Heater just now.

If you are planing on wintering pond, don't forget to check water level under the ice, as water level can drop during sudden freeze up as water is displaced into ice. Keep spare hose handy in basement.

This waterway drop from the top pond to the middle pond is just starting to form an ice shell this morning. It can look "messy" as water will splash a bit until ice shell completely formed. Water will then flow nicely under the shell,

Yep now most everywhere is getting colder than us. No more warm temps for you and we sit in the 30's and 40's forever
