Colleen, which one of your dogs is in your second picture of you burning your branches? I assume it must be Bear, as he sure is a big guy! What does Poppy look like?
I need to make a note to myself about taking pics from my roof this weekend. But, if I read these posts, I'll remember, too. :)

That's Poppy, she has white tip on tail, she's smaller than Bear. I try not to have favorites, love them both, but Poppy sleeps nice with me, Bear tries to, but Poppy said he has "kuddys" cause he rolls in stuff at the park....:) Poppy has lots of white on chest!

Well i dont have any pictures from the roof, although i'm always up there cleaning the gutters, so next time i'll take a camera with me.

I did have to try out that google earth and see what it looked like. well you can only see half of my house, its the one with the brown roof in the pic. cant see the pond at all, but you can see why i'm always cleaning out my gutters, dang tress everywhere!

also hers' a shot of my nieghborhood, it believe we are actually called a township... many people dont undertsand when i say i live in a nieghboerhood, but its out in the country... I love it, I'm very close to town, and have nieghbors, but am surrounded by farm land.

I had to try out Google Earth also 99. Our hood is kinda like yours, surrounded by land around our 5 houses. Our house is on the left of that road and my pond you can't see very well. It's to the left of path to the house and looks more like a garden from the air.

There is thier place... pretty funny i was looking at this picture and i was like, hey there is a lawn tractor with a trailer connected to it in front of the garage, there is a bigger trailer on the side of the house, this picture was taken last summer when we were siding. I can't make out the scaffolding, but there are ladders scattered all over the lawn. My grandfather and i were down there working somewhere. but you can see the big ol pool, and then right up and to the left from there, there is the pond. grandparents place.JPG

Oh yeah its a big one, they have always had pools since i can remember, and grandpa and grandma went back and forth on whether or not they were going to put an in ground pool in for the new one, or an above ground. They finally decided that an in ground cost too much, and went with the biggest above ground pool they make, but in the end he said he spent just as much money building that HUGE deck around it, and he might as well have put an in ground pool in , Haha.

if you look there is a big deck all around the pool, then it steps down and there is another large deck with that black blob in the middle of it, i thinks thats the bar and a big umbrella, and possibly the shadow from it? because it doesnt take up the whole deck.

then behind it you can see 2 large black lines, those are the big black solar pads that heat the pond, they sit out there and get nice and hot in the sun, and water is pumped through them to heat it up, pretty cool system.

Now that we are talking about it, i can't wait to go swimming, should be out there next weekend for fathers day.
