I'm still alive and well that God but can't say they same for some people in nearby Brooks Alberta where they have a bad outbreak there... Now some people afraid to come to work and so I am getting a extra hours at work. I am no longer afraid and maybe should be, but spring is here and I am so excited and happy. Birds are singing and ponds look great. Favorite time of the year. Fresh green leaves just popping out and air is fresh and smells clean after last night rain.
There's only so long we can hide out and still keep our sanity. It's human nature. We need to get out, especially since it's Springtime.
We know what we need to do to be safe. Keep up the social distancing, wash our hands or use sanitizer and don't touch our faces.
Stay safe and healthy...

Wow, check this out that happened in New Rochelle on Saturday:

Police were called to a Costco Wholesale warehouse in the coronavirus-stricken town of New Rochelle on Saturday for crowd control, according to the New York Post.

Hundreds of shoppers were lined up outside the store awaiting its 8 a.m. opening, but conditions reportedly became rowdy after worker took an extra half hour to open to the public. Chanting ensued before it turned into "total chaos," according to one shopper who spoke with the Post.

"I thought I was going to get trampled by shoppers, and it seemed like they were giving food away the way the customers acted, until cops and workers brought it under control," said Jose, a local who did not provide his last name.

Costco workers used wooden pallets to organize lines outside the store, which allowed them to let in a limited number of restless shoppers at a time, per Gov. Andrew Cuomo's orders.

More than 1,000 shoppers who waited on the line at the New Rochelle Costco were said to be chanting at workers to let them in to shop.

That sounds pretty much like the stories we hear about Black Friday shoppers @j.w - people can get nutty.

There was a report about a customer at a big box store who just wanted to return a piece of rental equipment (that didn't work by the way). They informed him he would have to stand in the line outside the store, wait for his turn to get in, and then march along with the crowd through the entire store until the line finally passed the rental area. No one was allowed to move freely through the store once inside. Oh and the wait time - 6 hours. They refused to let him in the other door to just drop the thing off. He started to raise a ruckus in the line, other customers started to join in, so the employees called the police.

And that's who I really feel sorry for with all this crazy stuff - the police, who surely have better things to do than police the line outside the local Home Depot.

Chicago's mayor got on a street corner this weekend and threatened fines, arrests and jail time for anyone who "acted like a criminal" and "broke the law". In other words, anyone who had a party in their own home. The only problem with her threats are they're empty - no laws have been made to keep people from having guests in their own home. At least not yet. Maybe that's next.

They want to recall our Snohomish county sheriff as he refuses to arrest people for disobeying the lock down. People have started a go fund me page to raise money for his lawyer as the state refuses to give him one. A barber here refuses to shut down his shop during this whole mess. He says if they take away his license he will stay open anyways. He is getting lots of customers.

I Don't know what happened to are major cities but YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ... Lisa it's the reverse here for the most part the cops absolutely will not get involved unless there is life threatening issues. The highways are a joke it is very common to see cars doing 100 mph and they are getting past .

lol people here are being pulled over for speed, fastest one caught was 110 mph they are getting huge fines and licenses pulled.

Costco here, calm organized. We usually skip the old people times, go mid day, just walk in shop walk out. People wear a mask some not covering their noses., or it on their chin. We just stay away from everybody, pause to let shoppers walk by.

They do use pallets to help keep the distance when walking in walking out. The main thing I noticed was the lack of supplies, shelves empty. The normal full stocked shelves are maybe 1/4 stocked.

No TP, no paper towels, no sanitizers, no alcohol, no peroxide. A big sign when you walk in so you don't look for it Meats are a buy only one package rule. We bought a bit, tossed in freezer.

There's only so long we can hide out and still keep our sanity
We can hide out for the rest of our lives if it means we stay alive.

I don’t trust anything reported even cdc numbers of reported deaths are inaccurate because there isn’t even uniform standard for reporting of covid deaths in each state. Some states are only reporting confirmed covid deaths, others are reporting confirmed and assumed deaths even if the individual hasn’t been tested. Huh? How is there anything scientific and accurate about that....So basically flying blind which is par for the course with govt in charge.

I've seen those same reports. Some hospitals are using coronavirus as a blanket cause of death. Some hospitals were getting paid outrageous amounts if sick patients were listed as having the virus and even more if they were put on a ventilator. So there's a monetary incentive to label someone as having the virus.

Hope it's true that hot weather will kill this thing cuz it's coming up soon, well we don't get that hot that often but Summer is much better than the other 3! Our camping club we belong to is opening up 3 of it's parks now at the ocean. Would be fun to go if we get some nice weather and bring all our own food, stay away from the club house etc. and just ride our bikes around all day and walk the beach.
