I made fresh cut French fries, fried in pure old fashion lard!! Where they ever good and seven hours later I am still full and satisfied, no craving for anything!!! No wonder the people Fifty years ago where slim, they where full for many many hours as back then everybody cooked with lard !!!

Is there some kind of powdered flavoring other than what's in Jello boxes? I want something to flavor my plain greek yogurt that does not have sugar or sugar free junk in it and I don't like hunks of fruit in it either. I could put stevia in it for the sweet taste but need some fruity flavor to make it just right. I know there is liquid flavoring but think that would water down the yogurt too much or maybe the tiny bottles of extract would work and not make it too watery? Anybody tried anything like that? Maybe kool-aid but what the heck is in that stuff that will kill ya?

Sorry, never eat yogurt, can't stand the texture, but I like frozen yogurt. Never drink coolaid or eat jelly either, so I can't help you there. But you can get coconut sugar which is suposed to be very good and there are other types of organic sugars, I just never use sugar in anything, the odd time I do use honey with tea but that is it.

You can get real vanella beans which are all ground up and sprinkle on top with a little crushed organic cane sugar.

Thanks Colleen. Tastes really good w/ the sugar free jello sprinkled in it and changes the texture too but don't want to use that stuff anymore as it's so bad for you. I was gonna use Stevia and maybe try some flavored extract and see how that tastes. Can't stand yogurt plain and just sprinkling something on top would not hide the way it is enough. I'll figure something out. Maybe take fruit and blend it all up in a blender and then add some Stevia. Just can't stand hunks of things in my yogurt unless of course it was nice big hunks of chocolate and that will make me too fluffy

Now that it is splashed all over the news, Vegetable oil very very bad, and animal fat very very good, NOW will you all believe me!!! You don't have to listen to me, read YOUR BIBLE, it will tell you quite plainly, the ANIMAL FAT is THE VERY VERY BEST!!!

I have preached this for many many years, and trying to tell people that LARD is healthier than VEGETABLE OIL, was like trying to tell people 200 years ago that REALLY the EARTH is ROUND!!! WAKE UP everybody, only the vegetable oil turns to trans fat NOT the LARD EVER!!! That is right, NO TRANS FAT EVER in LARD!!!!

Even my much loved coconut oil can turn to trans fat if you cook it too much, but NOT the ANIMAL FAT EVER!!!!

I feel vindicated, I told you so........

Poppy said the french fries fried in lard were very very good too!!!! You should have seen all the drool drops Bear and Poppy left on the floor while waiting for the animal fat fries!!!

OK done ranting about the bad vegetable, Mitch, I do not eat goat meat, but I know a guy from the middle east, who is a doctor, and he told me that the people in many middle eastern countries drink goat and sheep fat, and they are all very very healthy and slim! :)
